Why Use a Client-Side PDF Tool?

Most online PDF tools require you to upload your files to their external servers for processing. This means your sensitive documents—like bank statements, legal contracts, or medical records—are temporarily stored on a server you do not control, creating a severe data privacy risk.

  • Zero Server Uploads: Our tool uses advanced WebAssembly and JavaScript technologies (via pdf-lib) to process documents directly within your browser's local memory constraints.
  • Instant Processing Speeds: Because there is no uploading or downloading from a remote server, merging and splitting operations happen almost instantly, regardless of your internet connection speed.
  • Uncompromised Security: Once you close this tab, all processed data is instantly wiped from your device's RAM. We structurally have zero access to your files.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my sensitive documents uploaded to the internet?

No. Zentrova's PDF Merge & Split tool is built entirely on client-side WebAssembly and JavaScript technologies. Your documents are processed entirely within your browser's local memory and are never uploaded, sent, or stored on our servers.

Can I extract multiple non-consecutive pages from a PDF?

Yes. In the 'Split / Extract' tab, you can input a combination of ranges and specific page numbers separated by commas (e.g., '1-3, 7, 10-12'). The tool will extract only those specific pages and combine them into a fresh PDF document.

Why does the tool fail if my PDF is password-protected?

Our client-side processing engine requires raw access to the PDF's binary data structure to reconstruct the pages. If a file is encrypted or password-protected, the engine cannot read its contents. You must remove the password security from the PDF before merging or splitting.
